The subtitled recording of the launch event of our Circular Economy Guide is now available!
The Circular Economy Guide was written collaboratively by the members of Rede ACV's Circular Economy Working Group, coordinated by Alessandra Gonçalves de Freitas and Rebeca Venâncio.
Following a provocation by Yuki Hamilton Onda Kabe, the Guide is intended for anyone interested in understanding how the Circular Economy can be applied in different sectors, and how Life Cycle Assessment can be used to measure the environmental performance of products and services in this economic and organizational context. The Guide covers fundamental Circular Economy concepts, including waste minimization and maximizing the value of resources, as well as the tools and techniques, such as Life Cycle Assessment, needed to implement these concepts and monitor their benefits. With examples and practical cases, the guide is an invaluable source of information for those seeking a more sustainable approach in their business.
The Circular Economy Guide can be downloaded via the QR code in the image, and is also available on our website, under the “LCA in practice” tab (filter by Rede ACV as author – also available there are the Circular Economy papers and the Methodology Studies Committee publication on Theory & Practice of ISO 14044, as well as the PCR for Thermoplastic Resins, the ebook on Social Impact Measurement Methodologies and the special Rede ACV 10-year publication).
Also watch other meetings, such as “Sustainability Claims”, global trends in Labeling, how the Circular Economy can help mitigate Climate Change, the open webinars discussing the Construction, Electronics and Textile sectors, and much more!
