Who We Are

We exist to promote life cycle thinking in impact management.

So that sustainability stops being mere talk and becomes measurable practice. Turning intention into evidence and opinion into data, providing the technical foundation needed for better impact management.

What is Rede ACV

We are a pioneering business alliance that connects companies, government, academia and society around Life Cycle Assessment in Brazil.

Founded in 2013, we are the largest national initiative focused on disseminating the use of LCA as a strategic sustainability tool.

We are a pioneering business alliance that connects companies, government, academia and society around Life Cycle Assessment in Brazil.

We work on several fronts: capacity building, networking and technical-business articulation.

We support organizations in making evidence-based decisions, not guesswork.

Voices of the Network

Rede ACV helped us turn our environmental discourse into real strategy.

The conception of the Brazilian Business Network for LCA had a visionary character. Life Cycle Assessment, at the time, was adopted by a rather restricted group of companies. It was seen as a methodology that was complex to execute and challenging to communicate. It was impressive to watch how the Network gained substance, competence and relevance. How it established links with the main trends in corporate environmental management and in sustainability: Circular Economy, SDGs, ESG. Today Rede ACV has become an integral part of the pursuit of sustainability in the Brazilian economy.”

When Rede ACV was launched, the greatest challenge was bringing the business perspective closer to the government's. There were different understandings regarding data collection and use, the need for capacity building, and everyone's role and engagement over time. Rede ACV became the environment for debating and reaching these consensuses, culminating in the establishment of its legal status as an association in 2017, to enable partnerships.”
